Vita:

Joined the Foreign Service after retirement in 85. Since then. assigned to Bangkok, Jakarta, Washington (yech), Hanoi, and now (since Aug 00), Chiang Mai, Thailand. We have a rather active consulate General here in the north of Thailand. It's a fascinating and attractive place. Chan has also worked for the Foreign Service since Sep 85. Oddly, her assignments have been in the same places as mine at the same times. We have a great life.
