It is with
great regret and sorrow that I must notify you of the death of our classmate,
Tom Mercer, on March 17, 2023, in Dallas, TX, as a result of advanced
Alzheimer’s disease.
Tom is survived
by his wife, Cheryl; his daughter, Sandra Kathleen Muse, her husband, David, and
their children, Corey and Jeremy Muse; his daughter, Debra Jean Cifone, her
husband, Rocky, and their children, J.R. and Tommy Cifone; his step-son, Leonard
Scott Schroeder and his daughter, Haley Schroeder; his step-daughter, Jill
Elizabeth Schroeder, and her children, Niccolas Schroeder, and Dylan and Julia
Alderete; their son, Alexander Thomas Mercer, his wife, Lindsay, and their
children, Henry and Charlotte Mercer.
Funeral
services will be at Arlington National Cemetery on a date to be determined.

In lieu of
flowers, the family requests that donations in Tom’s memory be sent to the West
Point Association of Graduates, Attn: Gift Operations, 698 Mills Road, West

Fund.
