It is with great regret and sorrow that I must notify you of the death of our classmate, Mick Maus, on April 23, 2024, in McKinney, TX, as a result of pancreatic cancer. 

Mick is survived by his wife, Coralinn; their son, Mike (USMA ’87) and his wife Eileen; their daughter, Cynthia Maus; their daughter, Christine Kerlin and her husband Stephen; their grandchildren, Michael Maus and his wife Melissa, Alexis Maus, Jamie Maus, Caleb Kilpatrick (USMA ’19), Samantha Kilpatrick, Abigail Kilpatrick, Paul Kerlin, and Daniel Kerlin; and their great granddaughter, Isla Maus. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 3, 2024 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 110 St Gabriel Way, McKinney, TX  75071.  The service will also be live streamed at stgabriel.org/funerals-online

The funeral for Mick Maus is at 1:30 PM, July 15, 2024, at the Old Cadet Chapel, West Point, NY, with burial to follow in the West Point Cemetery.  Those attending should meet NLT 1:00 PM at the Visitors Control Center located in the West Point Visitors Center in Highland Falls. 

So far, Will and Kathy Conley, Mike and Chan Eiland, Rod Grannemann and daughter Tori, John and Teri Grisoni, John Kilkenny, and Pat Shroyer are planning to attend.

Reynold Michael Maus

Reynold Michael Maus of McKinney, Texas passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 84. He was born to Reynold Paul and Ann Rose (Connaughton) Maus on September 22, 1939 in Paris, Arkansas.

Mike graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1961. He married Coralinn Tuttle in Oberammergau, Germany on April 4, 1964. Mike worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing golf and global travel. Mike was an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas and Subiaco Academy in Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Coralinn Maus of McKinney, Texas; son, Mike Maus and wife, Eileen of Charleston, South Carolina; daughter, Cynthia Maus of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Christine Kerlin and husband, Stephen of Youngsville, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
