It is with great regret and sorrow
that we must inform you of the death of our Classmate,
Frank L. Hedstrom, Jr. He died in
Overland Park Regional Medical Center from a heart attack.
Funeral services will be
1:00 PM Monday at Maple Hill Funeral Home where the visitation will be 6 to 8 PM
Sunday.
Well done, Frank. Be thou at peace.

Mr Hedstrom was my U.S Military History teacher in high
school @ Grandview. He was a great teacher and made the class fun.

Carol, Sharon, and family....I'm so sorry for your loss. Le was a loving
husband/brother/uncle to you all and I know you'll miss him greatly. I'm
grateful to have had the chance to meet him, to see his smile, to hear him talk

Frank
Leroy Hedstrom, Jr "Le", 74, of Lenexa, KS, passed away February 27, 2013 at
Overland Park Regional Medical Ctr. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at
Maple Hill Funeral Home where the visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Sunday. Mr.
Hedstrom attended the West Point Military Academy and is an Army Veteran. He had
taught history at Wyandotte and Grandview High Schools. He is a member of the
Lenexa Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank
and Mildred. He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home. 2 sisters, Sharon
Kurtz of Overland Park, KS, Carol Sue Barbour of Leawood, KS, 7 nephews, 1 niece
and 2 great nephews.
